JC-090
Jiangsu Jiechuang
The JC-090 Split-Type Electromagnetic Flow Meter is designed for measuring the flow rate of conductive liquids in industrial pipelines.
Unlike an integrated electromagnetic flow meter, this split-type design separates the flow sensor from the converter. The sensor is installed in the pipeline, while the converter with an LCD display can be mounted at a more accessible location.
This remote configuration makes operation, parameter setting, and flow reading more convenient when the measuring point is difficult to access or when the converter needs to be installed away from the pipeline.
Based on Faraday's Law of Electromagnetic Induction, the JC-090 provides stable flow measurement without moving parts in the measuring tube. Different lining and electrode materials are available to meet various liquid measurement requirements.
Split-Type Structure: Separate sensor and converter for flexible installation.
Remote LCD Display: Allows operators to read flow data away from the measuring point.
Multiple Lining Options: PTFE, rubber, and customized lining materials for different process media.
Electrode Selection: 316L stainless steel and other customized electrode materials available.
Stable Measurement: No moving parts in the measuring tube.
Bidirectional Measurement: Supports forward, reverse, and bidirectional flow measurement.
Flexible Signal Options: 4–20 mA, pulse output, and RS485 Modbus communication options.
Industrial Installation: Flanged connection for pipeline installation.

The JC-090 split-type electromagnetic flow meter is suitable for measuring conductive liquids in various industrial processes.
Typical applications include:
Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment: Flow monitoring in water distribution, sewage treatment, and industrial wastewater systems.
Chemical Processing: Measurement of compatible conductive chemical liquids.
Pharmaceutical Industry: Liquid flow monitoring in suitable process pipelines.
Food and Beverage Industry: Measurement of compatible conductive process liquids.
Paper and Pulp Industry: Flow measurement of pulp and other conductive process liquids.
Mining and Metallurgy: Measurement of suitable conductive slurry and process liquids.
Power Generation: Water and process liquid flow monitoring.
Environmental Protection: Industrial water and wastewater measurement.
The liquid must have sufficient electrical conductivity. Lining and electrode materials should be selected according to the medium composition, temperature, and operating conditions.
The JC-090 uses a separate sensor and converter configuration.
Flow Sensor: Installed directly in the process pipeline to measure liquid flow.
Remote Converter: Installed at a convenient location for flow indication, parameter setting, and signal transmission.
Sensor Cable: Connects the flow sensor to the remote converter. A 10 m cable is listed as standard, with customized lengths available.
The split configuration is useful when direct access to the measuring point is inconvenient or when the converter needs to be positioned separately from the pipeline.
To select a suitable configuration, consider the following information:
Pipe Size: Confirm the nominal pipe diameter and required flow meter size.
Flow Range: Provide minimum, normal, and maximum flow rates.
Medium: Specify the liquid composition and electrical conductivity.
Operating Temperature: Confirm the normal and maximum liquid temperatures.
Working Pressure: Provide the pipeline operating pressure.
Lining and Electrode Materials: Select materials compatible with the measured liquid.
Installation: Confirm the sensor installation location and required remote converter position.
Signal Requirements: Specify the required output and communication protocol.
Cable Length: Provide the distance between the sensor and converter.
A split-type electromagnetic flow meter has a separate flow sensor and converter. The converter can be installed away from the pipeline for convenient reading and operation.
An integrated flow meter combines the sensor and converter in one unit. A split-type model installs them separately, providing more flexibility in converter positioning.
It measures conductive liquids such as water, wastewater, chemical solutions, and suitable slurry. The liquid must meet the required conductivity and material compatibility conditions.
