Product Overview
The JC-SBW Clamp-on Integrated PT100 Pipe Wall Temperature Transmitter is designed for measuring the external wall temperature of industrial pipelines without direct contact with the process medium.
The Pt100 RTD sensing element contacts the pipe surface through a conductive plate mounted on a clamp. Heat is transferred from the pipe wall to the sensor, and the integrated transmitter converts the Pt100 signal into a standard 4-20mA output.
The clamp-on installation eliminates the need for pipe drilling, cutting, or welding, making it suitable for temperature monitoring of existing pipelines, retrofit projects, and applications where invasive temperature measurement is not preferred.
