JC-090 Split Type Electromagnetic Flowmeter
This split electromagnetic flowmeter includes a pipeline sensor and an independent wall-mounted converter, connected by shielded signal cable.
It works based on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction to measure volume flow of conductive liquid.
Split structure lets you install the display converter far away from hot, vibrating or narrow pipeline positions.
It fits all conductive fluid like clean water, sewage, acid-alkali liquid and sand slurry.

Working Principle
The split electromagnetic flowmeter consists of measuring sensor and separate converter. When conductive liquid flows through the magnetic field inside the sensor pipeline, the liquid cuts magnetic induction lines to generate induced voltage signal. Two electrodes inside the pipe capture the tiny voltage signal, which transmits to wall-mounted converter via shielded cable. The converter amplifies, calculates and converts the signal into readable flow data and standard industrial output signals.
