Overview
The JC-LGX series wedge flow meter, developed and produced by our company using advanced foreign technology, is a new type of flow meter. It features a simple and robust structure, high accuracy, wide rangeability, and excellent resistance to cold and clogging. These characteristics make it particularly suitable for measuring the flow of high-viscosity, low-flow, and dirty fluids. Its introduction offers the best solution for the accurate measurement of city gas and natural gas, dirty gases in metallurgical enterprises, and high-viscosity liquid media such as tar, asphalt, residue oil, paraffin oil, and easily crystallizing naphthalene oil in coking, refining, and chemical industries. It is also ideal for measuring highly corrosive saturated or supersaturated acid, alkali, and salt solutions that crystallize with temperature changes in chemical enterprises.
The JC-LGX series integrated smart wedge flow transmitter consists of the JC-LGX series wedge flow meter combined with a differential pressure transmitter, intelligent flow transmitter, or multi-parameter mass flow transmitter, along with other accessories. This integration allows for the direct display or output of various parameters, including differential pressure, instantaneous flow, cumulative flow, compensated pressure, and compensated temperature.
Product Features
● Long-Term Stability: The wedge flow meter has a simple and reliable structure with no moving or easily damaged parts. It boasts excellent wear resistance and maintains long-term stability of the flow coefficient, with a lifespan of over 10 years.
● Dirt and Clog Resistance: The special V-shaped throttling element has no blind spots and features a self-cleaning function, preventing accumulation before and after the element. The large 3-inch pressure taps ensure true clog resistance.
● Low Pressure Loss: The pressure loss is only 50% of the differential pressure.
● Minimal Straight Pipe Requirements: With the built-in straight pipe section, typically only 5 diameters upstream and 3 diameters downstream are needed to ensure measurement accuracy.
● Bidirectional Flow Measurement: The same flow meter (with two differential pressure transmitters) can measure both forward and reverse flows simultaneously.
● Wide Range of Media Applications: Suitable for single-phase fluids as well as gas-liquid, gas-solid, and liquid-solid two-phase media. The minimum Reynolds number (Re) is 300, and the maximum exceeds 10^6, allowing operation in both laminar and turbulent flow states. In addition to general gases, liquids, and steam, it is particularly suited for high-temperature, high-pressure, high-viscosity, low-flow, easily crystallized, suspended particulate, long-fiber liquids, and dirty, dust-laden gases. The corrosion-resistant PTFE-lined design makes it ideal for measuring highly corrosive acids, alkalis, and salts.
